C2 GPS is seeking a Career Advisor I to provide counseling and coaching that helps customers enhance their training and skills to obtain employment in their desired field. The role expands job seekers’ opportunities through exploration strategies and direct guidance.

The position focuses on tailoring career plans, facilitating program eligibility, and connecting customers with local resources to improve employment outcomes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associates or undergraduate degree preferred.
• Previous related workforce experience strongly preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive career assessments to determine interests and aptitudes.
• Influence and empower job seekers to find employment through program referrals and intake processing.
• Guide job seekers through career development and exploration using aptitude assessments and interview techniques.
• Provide labor market information on opportunities, qualifications, and expected pay.
• Assist with resume development, mock interviews, and job search strategies.
• Refer participants to training opportunities and financial aid options.
