C2 Global Professional Services (C2GPS) is seeking a Career Advisor I to provide career counseling and coaching, helping customers strengthen training and skills to obtain employment in their chosen field.

The role guides job seekers through career development, uses labor market information, and assists with resumes and mock interviews. Bilingual English/Spanish is strongly preferred; a High School Diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associates or Undergraduate degree preferred.
• Previous related workforce experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license and proof of insurance required.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides career assessments to determine interests and aptitude and identifies training needs.
• Influences job seekers to find employment and guides eligibility for grant funded programs.
• Guides job seekers through career development and exploration using career planning tools.
• Provides labor market information on opportunities, qualifications, and pay.
• Educates participants on job search skills, resume writing, mock interviews and strategies.
• Provides information on training opportunities and financial aid options.
• Refers participants to training opportunities and supports employability skills development.
• Prepares and submits ITA and related requests in a timely manner.
• Maintains ongoing contact with customers and monitors progress toward goals.
• Develops cooperative relationships with internal teams and external partners.
• Screens and refers participants to job opportunities with focus on training-related development.
