New Moms is seeking a Career Coach in Chicago to provide personalized coaching for young moms, helping them maximize training, coaching, and job placement while addressing barriers to long-term employment. The role is based primarily at Bright Endeavors in East Garfield Park.

Responsibilities include assessments, individualized plans, group coaching on finances or parenting, and building referral networks. Evening/weekend availability and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; OR HS diploma/equivalent with 5 years related experience.
• Experience in case management or workforce development preferred.
• Familiarity with WIOA or CDBG programs strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of social services, education, and community resources.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with database/case management software recommended.
• Ability to problem-solve and collaborate across teams.

Responsabilités

• Provide individualized case management and career coaching to young moms.
• Conduct assessments and develop personalized career and education plans.
• Support participants through training to job retention.
• Address barriers to employment and provide crisis intervention as needed.
• Facilitate group and one-on-one coaching on career, financial, and family topics.
• Collaborate with trainers and staff to enhance participant success.
• Build and maintain referral networks with community resources.
• Maintain accurate records and complete reports in a timely manner.
• Participate in professional development and support the New Moms Coaching Model.
