Job summary

Bridgewell seeks an Employment Specialist to support adults with developmental disabilities, autism, and behavioral health challenges in achieving goals and increasing independence through career exploration and community engagement. Position covers on-site and off-site activities with a 40-hour week, Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm.

Qualifications

• Must have a current US driver’s license and one year of driving experience.
• Knowledge of human rights and positive behavior supports.
• Ability to plan, prioritize, and execute tasks efficiently and on time.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Demonstrates empathy and understanding in interactions.

Responsibilities

• Mentor, support, and train individuals 1:1 and in groups to promote independence.
• Implement an individualized program per each person’s goals under the ISP.
• Maintain documentation and data per required timelines.
• Monitor work progress and evaluate employment opportunities.
