Job summary

Discovergoodwill in Moscow, Idaho is seeking a dedicated Employment Specialist to provide employment services for individuals with disabilities and disadvantages. The role includes evaluation, coaching, placement, and retention support, with supervision of program participants and ensuring safety and compliance across services.

A Bachelor's degree or 1–2 years of related experience is required, along with a valid driver's license, personal auto insurance, and background/driving record checks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with development and implementation of programs and services.
• Screen referrals for appropriate program and service options.
• Maintain good working relationships with participants, referral agencies, employers and team members.
• Follow up on participant progress with encouragement as needed.
• Ensure paperwork, data entry and related activities are current and compliant; includes case notes, job logs, and service reports.
• Stay informed of state and federal laws affecting the organization and the people served.
• Provide services in accordance with CARF standards, safety principles, and Goodwill policies.
• Assist participants in achieving the highest level of independent functioning and plan vocational goals.
• Review participant referrals, assessments, and related information to determine job matches.
• Provide supervision and support to participants during their learning and job duties at various locations.
