Post-University in Waterbury, CT seeks a Career Coach to provide individualized and group career coaching for students, alumni, and working adults. The role involves delivering workshops, developing resources with campus partners, and promoting internships and experiential learning opportunities.

The position is hands-on with scheduling Monday–Friday, in-person at the main campus and Waterbury location, with a hybrid model requiring two days on campus weekly.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in career coaching, academic advising, human resources, or a related field.
• Experience coaching or advising students or adult learners.
• Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to collaborate with faculty, academic advisors, and campus partners.
• Familiarity with digital career tools and platforms is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide individual and group career coaching to students and alumni, both in person and virtually, covering career exploration, resumes, interviews, job searches, career transitions, and professional development.
• Develop career presentations, training, and resources for students, faculty, academic advisors, and other campus partners.
• Plan, deliver, and promote career workshops, classroom presentations, and events.
• Coordinate student-facing resources, including the Professional Headshot Booth and Swoop’s Career Closet.
• Connect students with internship and experiential learning opportunities through program promotion and individualized guidance.
• Maintain accurate records of coaching appointments, career conversations, workshop attendance, and classroom presentations.

Salary Range: $55,000.00 To $65,000.00 Annually

TheCareer Coach provides personalized career development support to our diverse student and alumni population, including working adults advancing or changing careers.

This is a hands-on role; the career coach delivers individual and group coaching, leads career workshops, collaborates with academic partners, and connects students with resources and opportunities that support their career goals.

Schedule: Monday–Friday (flexibility for evenings/weekends) in person at Post's main campus and downtown Waterbury location. This is a hybrid position with 2 days per week on the main campus.
