Laisar builds and operates hiring pipelines on large construction and infrastructure programs. We connect residents to careers in the building trades by working alongside training providers, apprenticeship sponsors, community organizations, and the contractors doing the hiring. Our teams have supported major transportation and infrastructure programs across the region, including work with general contractors on projects governed by project labor agreements and local hiring commitments.
This position supports a major development in Washington, DC. The program is designed to connect District residents to construction employment and long-term careers in the building trades.
You are the front door. Most residents who walk into the career center have never worked in construction and are not sure they belong there. How they are treated in the first five minutes determines whether they come back. This role suits someone organized, warm, and genuinely interested in the person in front of them.
District of Columbia residency is required. This program exists to create employment for DC residents, and we hold ourselves to the same standard. Applicants must reside in the District at the time of hire and maintain DC residency throughout employment. Residents of Ward 7 and Ward 8 are strongly encouraged to apply.

Compensation: $46,000 – $58,000
