What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

1. Maintain readiness in a fast-paced contact center work environment to support military spouses
2. Receive initial calls and live chats from military spouses, assessing their needs and providing them with resources
3. Provide education and career advising, including recommendations for online education and training opportunities, financial assistance resources, and credentialing information
4. Schedule career coaching appointments and troubleshoot website access issues
5. Assist with the administration of a military spouse scholarship program and maintain case management system and profiles

What is Required (Qualifications):

1. Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of professional experience in educational, career, or employment advising
2. 3 years of experience in training development, public speaking, and group presentation
3. 2 years of experience supervising or overseeing social services and/or education programs
4. U.S. Citizenship and home internet service with speeds exceeding 3Mb in both directions
5. Strong technology and research skills, as well as exceptional communication and critical thinking abilities
6. Availability for full-time training schedule for the first 6-8 weeks of employment

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

1. Active certification through NAWDP, NBCC, or NCDA
2. Experience working in a contact center or educational service operations environment
3. Former Military, Military Spouse, Veteran, or Wounded Warrior
4. Experience working in a structured environment with set schedules
5. Ability to build rapport with individuals in a remote/virtual setting
