View Behavioral Health's Long Beach facility seeks a detail-oriented Utilization Review professional to review inpatient and outpatient documentation, ensure medical necessity, and coordinate payer communications. The role supports the clinical team and works across Medicare, Medi-Cal, and commercial plans.

Ideal candidates have strong clinical judgment, organization, time-management, and experience with EHR systems.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• ICD-10 coding knowledge or certification.
• Billing and coding knowledge or certification.
• Medical records knowledge or certification.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with patients, staff and public.
• English reading and writing proficiency.
• Minimum of two years' experience in behavioral health, healthcare, or hospital settings.

Responsabilidades

• Review clinical documentation and medical necessity.
• Coordinate with payers, providers, and clinical team.
• Submit TARs and related forms accurately.
• Maintain patient and payer records with accuracy.
• Monitor TAR submissions for timely processing and status updates.
• Support inpatient and outpatient services as needed.
