Beacon Specialized Living is seeking a Care Team Manager to lead day-to-day operations in a residential setting supporting individuals with IDD. You will guide DSPs, oversee schedules, and ensure care plans are followed with a focus on safety and a positive home environment.

The role emphasizes coaching, staff development, compliance with policies, and collaboration with leadership to provide high-quality, person-centered care.

Qualifications

• Supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Experience in IDD, behavioral health, healthcare, human services, or residential services.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Must meet all company and state requirements for the position.
• Reliable transportation and ability to meet driving requirements, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) and residential staff.
• Oversee the daily operations of the assigned home.
• Ensure individuals receive care and support consistent with their individual needs and plans.
• Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to team members.
• Assist with recruiting, onboarding, scheduling, and staff retention.
• Ensure required documentation is completed accurately and on time.
• Monitor compliance with company policies, state regulations, and applicable care standards.
• Support medication administration and health/safety procedures as required.
• Respond to behavioral or operational concerns and escalate when needed.
• Build positive relationships with individuals supported, families, staff, and community partners.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming home environment.
• Participate in meetings, trainings, and quality-improvement initiatives.
• Serve as a hands-on leader who is willing to step in and support the team when needed.
