Beacon Specialized Living in Brick Township, NJ seeks a compassionate Care Team Manager to lead a residential home serving adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You will coach staff, ensure quality care, and promote a person-centered environment where residents thrive.

This hands-on leadership role requires overseeing daily operations, recruitment and training, scheduling, safety, and collaboration with clinical leadership to support health and well-being.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2-3 years leadership experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or human services preferred.
• 1-2 years of supervisory or management experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to pass background checks and work within Beacon programs.
• Maintain required certifications and TB screenings where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Lead one of our residential homes and oversee daily operations including financial, operational, and quality goals.
• Recruit, train, coach, and supervise Direct Support Professionals (DSPs).
• Maintain staffing schedules and support employee development and accountability.
• Ensure the home is safe, clean, and well-maintained; coordinate repairs and maintenance.
• Collaborate with clinical leadership to support health, safety, and well-being of individuals served.
• Promote person-centered care and foster independence and community involvement.
• Maintain communication with guardians, medical providers, regulatory agencies, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Attend individual meetings and community activities as needed.
• Monitor documentation, medication administration, and program compliance.
