Job summary

Beacon Specialized Living is seeking a dedicated supervisor to lead DSP teams and ensure compliant operation of living homes. You will coordinate training, oversee repairs, and manage contractor relations to support high-quality care.

Collaborate with clinical staff to maintain health, safety, and independence for individuals, while ensuring daily functions align with person-centered plans and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 2 years of college coursework in business, social science, or a related human service discipline is strongly preferred.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 2-3 years’ leadership experience in healthcare or behavioral health is preferred.
• 1-2 years’ supervisory/management experience is preferred.
• Approved by state, federal and government entities to work within BSLS programs.
• Must maintain industry trainings and TB screenings where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with company and regulatory policies and procedures.
• Operate homes to meet budgets and clinical effectiveness targets.
• Supervise Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) and ensure adequate training.
• Maintain homes and facilities, coordinating maintenance and repairs.
• Assist with contracting services and evaluate contractor performance.
• Collaborate with clinical team to ensure actions maintain health, safety, and stability of individuals.
• Oversee programs to enrich social, emotional, mental, and physical needs and promote independent living skills.
• Communicate with clinical, medical, and regulatory agencies as required.
• Ensure DSPs attend individuals’ functions and adhere to person-centered plans.
