Job summary

Scripps Health in Encinitas is seeking a Part-Time Care Team Assistant to join our Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas.

You will collaborate with care teams to ensure safe patient care, handle clerical tasks, logistics, and assist with basic patient needs under clinician direction. This role supports daily operations and improves patient experience in a dynamic hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak, read and follow instruction in English.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for health care provider

Responsibilities

• Work in collaboration with other care team members to assure safe and optimal patient care.
• Support the unit with a variety of clerical, patient logistic, equipment/supply, charge reconciliation, and patient service duties.
• Assist with patient care within the scope permitted and under the direction of a clinician.
• Assist patients with personal needs and activities of daily living, collects data, and maintains a safe, organized environment.

This is a Part-Time position (40 hours per pay period) with an 8-hour VARIED shift located at our Scripps Memorial Hospital in Encinitas.
