Job summary

The Christian and Missionary Alliance is seeking a Care Specialist focused on the emotional and spiritual care of official workers, spouses, retirees, and chaplains within the Eastern PA District. The role will create and implement a strategy to care for workers across regions and serve as a voice for women’s ministry development on the district team.

• Care for district team through quarterly gatherings that include spouses.

OVERVIEW:

As the Care Specialist, you’ll be focused on the emotional and spiritual care of official workers and spouses, retired workers, and chaplains. The Care Specialist is responsible to create and implement a strategy for our workers to care for one another in the various regions of our district. In this role, you will also serve as a voice for the development of women and their ministry giftings on the district team.

The Care Specialist is expected to be a highly relational and proactive worker; taking the initiative to connect with others while assessing the emotional and spiritual needs of our workers. You are expected to be collaborative in this process, working with the District team and key leaders, to develop a plan for how those needs can be met.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop, equip, and lead care networks for women by region, retired workers, and chaplains

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Relationally oriented with strong communication skills

Ability to demonstrate organizational skills, take initiative, and work independently as well as collaboratively

Experience in working with a highly effective and fast-moving organization
