Job summary

Mission Healthcare in San Diego, CA is seeking a professional front desk representative to deliver excellent customer service, answer and route calls, schedule appointments, and provide discreet support to leadership while preserving confidentiality.

You will welcome visitors, maintain directory information, guide them to the right departments, and help maintain security by following procedures and logging visits.

Qualifications

• High school graduate with 2+ years of business experience; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Proficient in word processing, desktop publishing and spreadsheet software.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service and maintain professionalism at all times.
• Operate telephone switchboard to answer, screen and forward calls, provide information, take messages and schedule appointments.
• Provide assistance to leadership, preserving the confidential nature of which he/she has knowledge.
• Welcome visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries.
• Direct visitors by maintaining employee and department directories and providing instructions as needed.
• Maintain security by following procedures, monitoring logbook, and issuing visitor badges.
