Job summary

Community Medical Group is seeking a Referral Coordinator in Miami, FL to ensure patients receive needed specialty care. You will coordinate referrals, authorizations, appointments, and follow ups while connecting patients with medical centers, specialists, and other providers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in a clinical or healthcare setting preferred.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and process patient referrals for specialty services.
• Verify patient demographics, insurance information, and eligibility.
• Obtain and process required authorizations for specialty services.
• Schedule specialist appointments, testing, and transportation.
• Communicate with patients regarding referral status and next steps.
• Follow up with patients to ensure completion of referrals and services.
