Job summary

Old Colony Elder Services (OCES) is expanding its care network across the south shore and seeking a Program Assistant to support the SCO department. You will help with administrative tasks, coordinate services, and manage transportation requests for consumers while collaborating with program management.

The role requires enthusiasm for helping others, solid organizational skills, and at least one year in human services.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in human services or related field.
• Excellent written and verbal skills.
• Ability to plan and organize work independently.

Responsibilities

• Assign, review, evaluate and approve the work of assigned staff.
• Provide administrative support to the SCO Department.
• Maintain resources/databases as required.
• Communicate with program management regarding information related to individual care plans.
• Handle transportation requests for SCO consumers.
• Assist SCO staff in tracking authorized services.
• Assist SCO staff with initial services requests.
