Job summary

The Gables of Canton is seeking compassionate Care Partners (CNA/STNA) to join our Canton, Ohio community on full-time and part-time shifts. You will assist residents with daily activities, deliver dignified care, and coordinate with a friendly team.

We offer weekly pay, 401(k) with company match, life insurance, PTO and holiday pay. Applicants must be 18+, with a high school diploma or equivalent, English proficiency, a clean background, and the ability to work varied hours including nights.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Shall have a high school diploma, or equivalent.
• Able to read, write, understand and communicate in English.
• Positive and energetic attitude.
• Must be criminally cleared.
• Be in good health and physically and mentally capable of performing assigned tasks.
• Good physical health and free from tuberculosis.
• Must have dependable transportation and be able to work varying hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide dignified care with first-class customer service.
• Assist residents with ADLs (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating) as per the Service Plan.
• Familiarize yourself with residents' interests and preferences to deliver exemplary service.
• Respond promptly to resident requests and maintain required records.
• Answer emergency call systems, telephone and paging systems.
• Participate in scheduled team meetings and ongoing education.
• Support Resident Rights in all activities.

The Gables of Canton is currently looking for Care Partners

Full time night shift 7pm to 7am

Part time 7pm to 11pm

Full time day shift 7am to 7pm

Key Accountability:

• Providing exceptional and dignified care with first class customer service.
• Assists residents with activities of daily living (ADL) bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating and oral care, as listed on the residents Service Plan.
• Provide exceptional customer service. Familiarize yourself with residents of the Community, including detailed understanding of each resident’s unique interests, hobbies, history and personal preferences in order to provide exemplary service.
• Promptly respond to resident requests. Maintain compliance with all departmental recordkeeping requirements.
• Promptly answers emergency call system, telephone and paging systems.
• Participates in all scheduled team member meetings, and other community-wide team member meetings as requested.
• Participates in voluntary and mandatory on-going education and in-service training.
• Demonstrates an understanding and support of Resident Rights.
