Job summary

Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center is seeking a Care Partner for the 2 South unit, 7pm–7:30am shift. A CNA is required to assist staff and patients, contribute to a safe, caring environment, and perform charting under RN supervision.

The role includes monitoring with cardiac equipment, infection control, and direct patient care tasks, with opportunities for ongoing learning through unit-based in-service programs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• BLS or CPR certification within 90 days of hire.
• CNA or completion of 1st semester of RN program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Apply cardiac monitor in alignment with policies, procedures, and physician orders.
• Complete tasks in line with infection control standards.
• Document and report care delivered under RN supervision.
• Maintain knowledge through orientation and unit-based training.
• Promote a safe environment with fall risk and skin risk precautions.
• Assist with activities of daily living and basic procedures as directed.
• Provide age-appropriate care and support mobility and comfort.

They perform duties in the direct and indirect treatment of patients as directed by RN staff. Performs computer charting functions to ensure an accurate and complete patient record.**Responsibilities**Applies cardiac monitor in alignment with approved policies, procedures, and physician orders., Completes assigned tasks in alignment with infection control standards., Documents and reports care delivered to patients under the direct supervision of an RN., Obtains and maintains professional knowledge by completing required knowledge and skills through orientation and competency activities specific to the unit, unit based in-service programs, and seeking new clinical learning opportunities., Promotes a safe environment by maintaining high fall risk precautions, skin risk precautions, and patient specific precautions., Promotes patient comfort and mobility through ambulation, turning, and repositioning., Provides direct age-appropriate care to patients under the supervision of the RN.
