CARE PARTNERS is seeking a compassionate Care Partner in Roseburg, Oregon. You will support elders with daily living activities, monitor health, provide emotional support, assist with meals, and help with social activities in a team-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care: assist elders with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Provide health monitoring and documentation: observe, document, and report changes to the Wellness Team.
• Give emotional support and engage in conversation and companionship.
• Assist with meals and possibly feed elders who require support.
• Engage in social and recreational activities for elders’ well-being.
• Communicate with elders, families, other team members, and guests.
• Maintain cleanliness and light housekeeping as needed.

What You’ll Do

• You will provide personal care: assist elders with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility, possibly with walkers and wheelchairs.


• You will provide health monitoring and documentation: observe, document, and report changes in the elder’s health or behavior to the Wellness Team.


• You will give emotional support: may support elders dealing with loneliness, anxiety, or other emotional challenges. Engaging in conversation, active listening, and offering companionship is part of your role.


• You will assist with Meals: help elders with meals and possibly feed elders who require additional support.


• You will engage in social and recreational activities: supporting elders in life-enriching activities for their well-being.


• You will connect: Communicate with elders, their families, other team members, and guests.


• You will keep things clean: may involve light housekeeping, such as tidying up and ensuring general cleanliness.
