Role Description

The primary purpose of your position is to serve as the centralized contact for Providence’s new business development. This outcome will be supported in many different ways, which includes facilitating Providence’s public relations, referral management, community outreach and education. The position also involves providing information about the agency’s services to facility staff, attending physicians, hospitals, patients and families; offering education on end‑of‑life issues; fostering communication between hospice and facility staff; and coordinating services and provision of end‑of‑life resources on behalf of the patient and family. You will make visits to facilities, hospitals, and physician offices, communicate with referral/admission coordinators, and coordinate the development of the referral and sales strategy.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree is preferred. A study emphasis in social work, psychology, counseling, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
• A proven success record in outside sales is required.
• A minimum of three years of sales experience dealing with data, people, program development, and/or marketing is required.
• Experience in a hospice, healthcare, or similar setting preferred.
