Job summary

Assists with discharge planning and ambulatory follow-up activities; provides member assistance with mental health and substance abuse issues, and participates in QI projects. Manages a caseload of ICM members if assigned.

Additional Information

• Requirements/Certifications: This is a Temp – to Perm position!!!

Hours: 8am-4:30pm or 8:30am – 5pm. Determined by the manager.

Education: All licenses require a Master’s Degree EXCEPT for the RN, who requires a Bachelor’s Degree.

Training: 1 week of formal training followed by floor training.

The selected candidate will authorize and review utilization of mental health and substance abuse services provided in inpatient and intermediate care settings; collect and analyze utilization data. Assist with discharge planning and ambulatory follow-up activities; provide members assistance with mental health and substance abuse issues, and participate in QI projects. The candidate will manage 10-15 reviews/day. Must be able to type and talk simultaneously, comfortable working in a cubicle environment, and navigating multiple systems. Managed Care experience is a plus; please specify where this experience was gained and include your WPM typing score in your application.
