Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Huntington Station, NY is seeking a Caregiver to provide hands-on support with residents, helping with daily activities and building meaningful relationships.

You will follow Individualized Service Plans (ISP), promote safety and independence, assist dining services, and collaborate with families and care leaders to ensure comfort and wellbeing for each resident. Training and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• CPR/First Aid certification preferred or ability to obtain.
• Compassion, reliability, and strong communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and personal care.
• Follow ISP and document changes.
• Promote safety, dignity, and independence.
• Engage residents through conversation and daily activities.
• Support dining services and maintain a clean, welcoming environment.
• Communicate effectively with families and care leaders.
• In Memory Care, create enriching experiences for residents with memory loss.
