Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Caregiver to provide hands-on support and build meaningful relationships with residents. You will assist with daily activities, follow individualized care plans, and promote safety and independence in a warm, welcoming environment.

The role emphasizes compassionate care, effective communication with families, and engagement with residents through daily activities, including memory care experiences where applicable.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; age 18+.
• CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain it.
• Compassion, reliability, and strong communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and personal care.
• Follow ISP and document changes.
• Promote safety, dignity, and independence for residents.
• Engage residents through conversation and daily activities.
• Support dining services and maintain a clean, welcoming environment.
• Communicate effectively with families and care leaders.
• In Memory Care, create enriching experiences for residents with memory loss.
