Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Setauket, NY is seeking a caring Caregiver to provide hands-on support with activities of daily living and build meaningful relationships with residents.

You will follow ISP, promote safety and independence, assist dining services, and communicate with families and care leaders. Paid training and growth opportunities are part of the role.

Eligible applicants should have a high school diploma, CPR/First Aid, and compassionate, reliable communication.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain) preferred.
• Compassion, reliability, and strong communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs (bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, personal care).
• Follow Individualized Service Plans (ISP) and document changes.
• Promote safety, dignity, and independence for residents.
• Engage residents through conversation and daily activities.
• Support dining services and maintain a clean, welcoming environment.

• In Memory Care, create enriching experiences for residents with memory loss.
