Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking a Care Management Support Assistant 2 to contribute to the administration of care management and provide non-clinical support for assessments and evaluations of members' needs.

This remote role may require travel to Humana offices for training or meetings and includes a 40-hour work week, with benefits including medical, dental and vision coverage, a 401(k) plan, paid time off and disability protection.

Become a part of our caring community The Care Management Support Assistant contributes to administration of care management. Provide non‑clinical support to the assessment and evaluation of members' needs and requirements. This support helps achieve and/or maintain an optimal wellness state. It does this by guiding members/families toward, and facilitating interaction with, resources appropriate for the care and wellbeing of members. The Care Management Support Assistant 2 performs varied activities and moderately complex administrative/operational/customer support assignments. Perform computations. Typically work on semi‑routine assignments. The Care Management Support Assistant Decisions are typically focus on interpretation of area/department policy and methods for completing assignments. Work within defined parameters to identify work expectations and quality standards, but has some latitude over prioritization/timing, and works under minimal direction. Follow standard policies/practices that allow for some opportunity for interpretation/deviation and/or independent discretion. Use your skills to make an impact.

Required Qualifications

• Must reside in Louisiana
• At least 3 years of technical experience with Microsoft , Word, Excel, Outlook
• Administration support experience in a healthcare industry
• Familiarity with care and well‑being resources
• Ability to multi‑task, prioritize and manage time effectively
• Detail oriented
• Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences.

Work at Home Requirements

To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees’ ability to work effectively, the self‑provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees must meet the following criteria: At minimum, a download speed of 25Mbps and an upload speed of 10Mbps is required; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested. In certain roles, the minimum recommended internet speed required by Humana may not be sufficient for business needs. Humana reserves the right to require associates to upgrade their internet service if necessary. Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.

Travel

While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc. $39,000 - $49,400 per year.
