Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc is hiring a Laundry Worker to help maintain clean linens and garments in a long-term care facility. You will handle washing, drying, folding, and distribution of items while supporting a safe and welcoming environment for residents and staff.

The role emphasizes following infection control policies, operating laundry equipment safely, and providing courteous service. Previous laundry experience is a plus, but not required, with training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous laundry experience preferred but not required.
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds, push/pull up to 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to work around cleaning products.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of laundry activities and report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
