Job summary

Duke Raleigh Hospital, a campus of Duke University Health System, is seeking a Full Time Food Service Associate with rotating weekends. You will help prepare foods for hospital cafeterias and patients, read recipes, and operate a range of kitchen equipment to ensure safety and quality.

This role requires Level I or Level II experience (one to two years in institutional food preparation), morning shift availability, and flexibility to work at multiple stations.

Qualifications

• Level I requires one year institutional food preparation experience.
• Level II requires two years institutional food preparation experience.
• Must be able to read and write English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare foods according to recipes for hospital cafeterias and patient meals.
• Set up and prepare supplies and equipment daily.
• Operate and sanitize kitchen equipment and follow safety procedures.
• Lead training and supervise other staff as directed.
