Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Food Service Worker/Kitchen Helper/Dietary Aide to assist in preparing and serving meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will follow safety guidelines and deliver friendly customer service in a supportive team environment.

The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to dietary needs, and maintaining a clean, sanitized kitchen and dining area. Prior food service experience is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in food service or kitchen is a plus but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a team.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with occupants and staff.
• COVID-19 vaccination policy compliance.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and salads.
• Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs and portion sizes.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
