Job summary

A caregiving service provider in the Arden Arcade Area of Sacramento is looking for a caring individual to assist elderly residents with daily activities, such as bathing, dressing, and medication management. This role requires someone who can be available at least 4 days a week, including weekends. Training is provided, and the team prides itself on being supportive and flexible with scheduling.

Qualifications

• Friendly, patient demeanor suitable for working with elderly residents.
• Must pass a live-scan background check or have an exemption.
• TB testing required within 6 months of applying.

Location: Seeking someone local to the Arden Arcade Area of Sacramento. Must be available at least 4 days a week from 8:30am-7:30pm, including Thursdays and three other days, with some weekends.

Job Description: To work in a team assisting 6 elderly residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, toileting, medication management, cooking, and cleaning. Candidates should be friendly, patient, and understanding of elders' limits. Vaccination and COVID testing are strongly encouraged; anti-vax candidates should consider this before applying.

Requirements: Ability to lift, perform wheelchair transfers, stand for long periods, avoid distractions, and work well with co-workers. Must pass a live-scan background check or have an exemption, and TB testing within 6 months of applying. Experience is a plus but training will be provided for promising candidates.
