Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program with hands-on clinical training.
• Registered medical assistant apprenticeship completion is acceptable.
• Has completed two years of medical training in US Armed Forces.
• Minimum one year of MA experience with vital signs, injections, and medications.
• Washington Medical Assistant Certification upon hire.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association) upon hire.
• Healthcare experience (6 months) and Medical Assistant experience (6 months) required.

Responsibilities

• Assists with exams and procedures and administers medications.
• Performs tests under supervision of a licensed provider.
• Handles front desk, patient registration, and insurance billing.
