Job summary

Providence Health and Services is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our Express Care team. The MA will assist physicians, perform clinical tasks, and manage front desk operations, including patient registration and insurance processing.

Candidates should have accredited MA training, WA certification, and BLS, with experience in vital signs and injections. This on-site role emphasizes patient-centered, efficient care within our mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program with hands-on clinical training.
• Completion of a medical assistant apprenticeship or equivalent training is acceptable.
• Must have at hire: Washington Medical Assistant Certification.
• Must have at hire: BLS certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Assist with exams and procedures and provide basic patient care under supervision.
• Administer medications and injections per provider orders.
• Handle front desk duties including patient registration and insurance billing.
• Support the team with cash collection and coordinating care.
