Job summary

Emerald Healthcare in Paramount is seeking a Housekeeping/Laundry Aide to maintain a clean, safe environment for residents. You will clean rooms, common areas, and launder linens following infection control policies.

This full-time role requires reliability, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays; prior healthcare housekeeping experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in housekeeping or laundry preferred in healthcare.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays.
• Follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways and common areas according to schedule.
• Dust, mop, vacuum and sanitize surfaces as assigned.
• Collect and launder linens and residents' clothing.
• Fold, sort and distribute clean laundry to proper locations.
• Operate laundry and cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
• Follow infection control procedures and report maintenance needs.
• Provide respectful service to residents and staff.
