Job summary

PowerBack Rehabilitation is seeking a maintenance worker to perform routine repairs and upkeep at our healthcare facilities. The role includes minor repairs to a wide range of infrastructure and equipment, plus HVAC filter changes and supply handling.

The incumbent may step into Maintenance supervisor duties when needed and is expected to support a safe, well-maintained environment for residents and staff. Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent and basic knowledge of wiring,

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent and basic knowledge of wiring, plumbing and carpentry.

Responsibilities

• Make minor repairs to handrails, windows, flooring, walls, ceilings, beds, wheelchairs, geri-chairs, electrical equipment, alarms and extinguishers
• Change filters on HVAC equipment
• Carry, lift and stock supplies
• Assume Maintenance supervisor's responsibilities in their absence
