Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. (HCSG) is seeking a dedicated Laundry Worker to maintain clean linens and garments for a long-term care facility.

You will operate laundry equipment, sort and distribute items, and support a sanitary environment while delivering friendly service to residents and staff. Responsibilities include following infection control policies, recording laundry activities, and reporting maintenance needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous laundry experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds, push/pull up to 50 pounds; stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of laundry activities and report maintenance or safety issues.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
