Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Laundry Worker to maintain cleanliness and availability of linens in a long-term care facility. You will operate laundry equipment, sort and distribute textiles, and interact with residents and staff to ensure a clean, welcoming environment.

The role emphasizes adherence to infection control policies, safety standards, and reliable daily tasks. Strong communication and physical ability are important as you join a dedicated team at HCSG.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous laundry experience is preferred but not required.
• Maintain a positive attitude and effective communication with building occupants and staff.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Must be able to work around cleaning products.
• Able to follow oral and written instructions and perform routine tasks daily.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of laundry activities and report maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
