Job summary

Forest Hills Care and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated Laundry Assistant for a full-time shift (Mon–Fri, 10:30am–7pm) to support resident care and facility operations. You will handle laundry processing, ensure safety, and follow infection control procedures in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year of experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate in English in writing and verbally.

Responsibilities

• Loads articles into washer and dryer.
• Soaks contaminated articles as per policy.
• Sort dried articles and place in bins.
• Lubricate machines.
• Mends torn articles and counts items.
• Ironing of required items.
• Read equipment operation manuals.
• Maintain resident safety and sanitation.
• Follow infection control procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
