Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Laundry Worker to ensure clean linens and garments for a long-term care facility. You will operate laundry equipment, follow infection control policies, and deliver excellent service to residents and staff.

Minimum duties include sorting, washing, drying, folding, and distributing items while maintaining safety standards and teamwork with the facility team. This role offers on-site work with opportunities for training and career development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous laundry experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of laundry activities and report maintenance or safety issues to supervisor.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
