Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Laundry Worker to help maintain clean linens and garments for residents in a long-term care facility. You will operate laundry equipment, ensure timely distribution of laundry items, and provide courteous service to residents and staff.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, is subject to residency in the service area, and involves lifting up to 50 pounds. Prior laundry experience is helpful but not required; training is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Residency within the service area required.
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Previous laundry experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of laundry activities and report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
