Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Laundry Worker to maintain clean linens and garments in a long-term care facility. You will operate laundry equipment, sort and distribute items, and support infection-control practices to ensure a sanitary environment and positive resident experiences.

No advanced degree required; a high school diploma preferred. Prior laundry experience is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous laundry experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of laundry activities and report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
