Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Laundry Worker to maintain clean linens and garments for residents in a long-term care facility. You will operate laundry equipment, sort and distribute items, and provide courteous service to residents and staff.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Prior laundry experience is welcome but not required, and adherence to COVID-19 vaccination or policy is expected where required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous laundry experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of laundry activities and report maintenance or safety issues.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
