Job summary

Healthcare Services Group Inc. is seeking a Laundry Worker to maintain linens and garments in a long-term care facility. You will operate laundry equipment, sort and distribute clean items, and interact with residents and staff to provide excellent service.

The role requires physical stamina, adherence to infection control, and the ability to follow instructions. Some benefits and on-the-job training are offered to support career growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous laundry experience is preferred but not required.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with occupants, administration and leadership.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Lift/push up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions and perform routine tasks.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of laundry activities and report maintenance or safety issues.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions.
• Interact positively with residents and staff to provide excellent service.
• All other duties as assigned.
