Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Laundry Worker to maintain clean linens and garments in a long-term care facility. You will support residents and staff by ensuring a steady supply of clean textiles and upholding infection control standards.

The role involves operating laundry equipment, following safety procedures, and collaborating with the team to deliver reliable service. Prior laundry experience is welcome but not required; training is provided to ensure quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous laundry experience preferred but not required.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with staff and residents.
• COVID-19 vaccination policies compliance.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of laundry activities and report maintenance or safety issues.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
