Job summary

ROLLINGHILLS is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment for residents, staff, and visitors in our facility. The role focuses on cleaning public areas, resident rooms, and bathrooms; gasping for order and sanitization while adhering to safety protocols and proper chemical handling.

The position emphasizes reliability, attention to detail, and strong customer service, with an hourly wage range of $16.00–$18.00 based on experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Healthcare or long-term care housekeeping experience is a plus.
• Ability to read and understand procedure and instruction manuals and directions.
• Basic math skills of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
• Ability to follow safety guidelines and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain public and common areas including lobbies, restrooms, drinking fountains, and floors.
• Ensure resident rooms and bathrooms are cleaned and sanitized regularly.
• Wipe down handrails to keep them free of dust and debris.
• Remove dirt, dust, and food from walls, mirrors, windows, light fixtures, towel bars, and dispensers.
• Empty trash cans and replace liners as needed.
• Sweep and mop floors throughout the facility.
• Follow safety protocols and store chemicals securely.
• Operate cleaning equipment and supplies according to manufacturer instructions.
• Keep housekeeping carts, equipment, and storage areas clean and sanitary.
• Report resident safety concerns to supervisors.
• Notify Housekeeping when supplies need replenishment.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and a positive attitude.
• Manage time effectively and complete tasks efficiently.
• Work independently or as part of a team.
