Job summary

Pacific Villas Post Acute seeks a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain a safe, clean environment in a long-term care facility. You will service public areas, resident rooms, and common spaces throughout the day.

The role requires basic high school education, English fluency, and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds. Previous long-term care experience is preferred; training will be provided, and pay ranges from $18 to $20 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in long-term care facility preferred.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all public and common areas throughout the day, including lobby and restrooms.
• Keep resident rooms and bathrooms clean.
• Maintain handrails clean and debris-free.
• Clean walls, mirrors, windows and fixtures.
• Empty trash and replace liners.
• Sweep and mop floors.
• Follow safety procedures and proper chemical handling.
• Maintain housekeeping carts and supplies.
• Notify supervisors of safety issues or supply needs.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and a positive attitude.
• Work independently or as part of a team.
