Job summary

Spokane Falls Care in Spokane, WA is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Aide. Responsibilities include cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas; maintaining infection control; stocking supplies; and ensuring a safe, sanitary environment for residents and staff.

This full-time position offers starting pay of $17.16 per hour DOE. Candidates must understand and speak English and have prior housekeeping experience.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working as a housekeeper required

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for residents and staff - dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces in resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and hallways
• Play a crucial role in infection control, adhering to specific protocols to prevent the spread of illness
• Ensure adequate levels of cleaning supplies, toiletries, and other essential items in resident rooms and bathrooms
• Proper disposal of trash and soiled linens, following established procedures
• Follow a daily, weekly, or monthly cleaning schedule and complete tasks as assigned
• Interact with residents, their families, and other staff members in a courteous and professional manner
• Maintain confidentiality and being mindful of residents' personal belongings and space
