Job summary

Complete Care Management is hiring a Part-Time Cook to support our nursing and rehabilitation facility. Shifts are 5:30am-2:30pm or 2:30pm-7:30pm, with every other weekend required, to ensure consistent meal service.

You will prepare foods per approved menus, maintain temperatures, comply with sanitation standards, and help achieve quality and cost goals while delivering compassionate, patient-centered dining. Good communication with staff and residents is essential in a busy kitchen.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a cook in a nursing facility preferred.
• Excellent customer service, communication skills, and the ability to multitask.
• Ability to operate institutional kitchen equipment.
• Knowledge of quantity cooking.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food according to selected menus and approved recipes.
• Complete the preparation of all food items in a timely manner and assure that all foods meet required serving temperatures.
• Comply with health, sanitation, safety, and food handling standards.
• Adhere to quality and cost containment standards.
