Job summary

Mahnomen Health is seeking an Environmental Services Aide to maintain cleanliness and sanitation throughout the facility, including patient rooms and common areas.

Responsibilities include cleaning, sanitizing, laundry tasks, and notifying Facilities about maintenance needs. Must read, write, and communicate effectively in English and maintain privacy for patients and guests in a respectful manner.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented and thorough.
• Ability to remain discreet and respect the privacy of patients, residents, and/or guests.
• Sufficient ability to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English to complete work efficiently, effectively, and courteously.

Responsibilities

• Performs general cleaning and sanitizing tasks and services throughout facility.
• Uses cleaning cart to transport cleaning supplies.
• Cleans and disinfects patient rooms, resident rooms and common spaces including bathrooms and dining areas.
• Wipes and dusts surfaces throughout the facility.
• Vacuums and cleans floors, rugs, furniture, and drapes.
• Picks up and empties trash containers.
• Loads washers and dryers and folds laundry in laundry room as needed.
• Notifies Facilities if something is not working properly.
