Lourdes Health, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking an Insurance Specialist to verify benefits, secure pre-certifications, and estimate patient liabilities for outpatient procedures in our Washington facilities.

You will handle eligibility checks, payer communications, and coordination with physician offices to ensure smooth scheduling and accurate coverage.

This on-site role in Pasco, WA operates Monday–Friday with a pay rate of $17.90–$24.84 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of college or medical office specialist education preferred.
• One year experience obtaining and verifying pre-certifications with various insurance companies required.

Responsibilities

• Verify insurance benefits and obtain pre-certifications for outpatient procedures.
• Communicate with physician offices and scheduling to ensure timely pre-cert coverage.
• Contact payers about CPT code discrepancies and changes due to radiologist discretion.
• Perform insurance verification, eligibility checks and patient liability estimates.
• Coordinate with hospital departments and benefits specialists as needed.
