Job summary

Magnolia Village Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Housekeeping Aide to help maintain clean and safe resident areas in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities include cleaning rooms, bathrooms, windows, and common areas; reporting hazards to supervision; and following established infection control practices. A high school diploma or GED is preferred for candidates applying.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Report and address defective lights and safety hazards to supervisor.
• Clean resident rooms, furnishings, fixtures, and common areas.
• Sanitize and clean bathrooms; remove water marks and polish fixtures.
• Clean windows, drapes, curtains, mirrors in resident areas.
• Vacuum carpets; deodorize and disinfect floors.
• Keep work areas clean and organized; dispose of waste.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions.
